Dental Implants

Rediscover Confidence, Comfort, and a Complete Smile

There is a particular kind of confidence that comes from your own smile, which, unfortunately, a lot of patients say they lose when they lose a tooth. Losing a tooth, or several, can feel like losing that part of yourself; it changes the way you eat, the way you speak, and how you see yourself in your own reflection.

Left untreated, gappy teeth do more than interrupt a smile. Neighbouring teeth begin to drift, the bite alters, and over time even the contours of the face can subtly change.

At Bespoke Smile, dental implants are not simply about replacing teeth; they are the closest treatment option in dentistry that we have to replicate a tooth as they replace both the root and the crown of a tooth. Patients often describe their treatment as nothing short of transformative. Favourite foods return to the table, conversation feels effortless again, and the instinct to hide in photographs quietly disappears.

“I didn’t realise how much I was hiding my smile until I got my implant — now I can laugh without thinking twice.”

Every Implant Journey at Bespoke Smile is Led by a Multidisciplinary Team

Our dentists with a special interest in dental implants, including Dr Firas Daoudi and Dr Gurs Sehmi, work in close collaboration with our restorative and cosmetic experts to create results that are as functional as they are beautiful.

From a single missing tooth to multiple implants or full-arch treatments such as All-on-4, each case is planned with surgical precision and advanced smile design to ensure your implants feel secure, look entirely natural, and are designed to last.

Dental Implants: The Gold Standard for Replacing Missing Teeth

A dental implant is a small titanium post that is gently placed into the jawbone, where it replaces the root of a missing tooth. Over time, the implant naturally integrates with the bone, mimicking a natural tooth root and creating a stable foundation for the implant crown.

Once healed, a custom-designed porcelain implant crown is created and attached to the implant. Together, the dental implant and implant crown replicate the appearance, strength, and function of a natural tooth, allowing you to smile, eat, and speak with complete confidence.

Dental implants are widely regarded as the gold standard for tooth replacement because they are fully independent. Unlike bridges, they do not rely on neighbouring teeth for support, and unlike dentures, they are fixed securely in place. This makes them the closest possible alternative to your natural teeth in both feel and longevity.

A Bespoke Design, Always

At Bespoke Smile, every implant restoration is individually designed to blend seamlessly with your smile, using the highest quality materials and meticulous attention to detail. The result is a solution that feels natural, looks beautiful, and is built to last. At Bespoke Smile, we provide the full spectrum of implant treatments:

Single Tooth Implants

to replace one missing tooth with a seamless, natural-looking restoration.

Multiple Implants

to replace several missing teeth with implant-supported bridges.

Full-Arch Solutions

such as All-on-4 / All-on-6 – a life-changing treatment that replaces a full set of teeth with just 4–6 carefully placed implants.

Implants don’t stand alone — they often work hand-in-hand with other areas of dentistry. For example, patients may need periodontal (gum) treatment to ensure a healthy foundation, or opt for cosmetic treatments such as veneers to perfect the neighbouring teeth surrounding a dental implant. By combining these disciplines, we can ensure that your implants blend seamlessly into a complete, healthy, and natural-looking smile.

The Bespoke Smile Method: How Our Restorations Are Designed

We created the Bespoke Smile Method to address long-standing problems in cosmetic dentistry; issues like unnatural, bulky-looking teeth and unpredictable results.

Our patients expect, and deserve, natural aesthetics, a comfortable bite, and lasting results without multiple visits or additional treatments. This is applied to our final implant crown restorations as well as our veneers and onlays.

01. Facially Driven Smile Design

After your implant has been placed and has healed, we then create your implant crown to be in harmony with your unique facial features and surrounding teeth. This concept uses jaw and lip shapes so your result looks how it should look.

This process takes the guesswork out of “what should my teeth look like?” and always ensures the result looks like it belongs. We can also hide facial asymmetries using this technique simply by improving the smile. This is a technique we are known for amongst dentists, across the world as it solves a number of pre existing issues with how a smile is usually designed leaving clients with artificial results.

We then hand design your implant restorations using a temporary material so you can see your new tooth will look like before it’s made. This step tests bite, feel, and appearance, making adjustments easy and creating predictable outcomes. This allows us to fully customise your final tooth crown, making it harmonious with your adjacent teeth and your bite, reducing the need for repeat work or acceptance of non-aesthetically pleasing or functioning results.

Our master ceramist then copies our temporary handmade design exactly into porcelain in our Bespoke Smile lab which means we are able to utilise a multitude of materials, ceramics, which large commercial laboratories do not have access to. The final finish is a hand layered implant restoration that mimics your natural teeth. This results in the final materials being totally bespoke, and more beautiful than average results.

Dental Implants from Bespoke Smile

At Bespoke Smile, Dr Sam Jethwa leads a clinical team of specialists including Dr Pano Kaimakamis, a registered periodontist, with an interest in tissue regeneration, and dentists with special interests, including Dr Gurs Sehmi who has an interest in basic and advanced implant surgery and bone grafts.

This makes the chance of complications extremely low. Seeing a dentist who not only places implants, but works alongside a team that makes the final teeth on these implants, means that treatment can be carried out by experts in each department. Dr Sam Jethwa is also an internationally recognised lecturer on the art of perfecting your smile, and has developed techniques that allow our highly-trained dentists to use their considerable skill to design your perfect smile.

Why Choose Bespoke Smile for Dental Implants?

At Bespoke Smile, we believe implants are not just about replacing teeth, they’re about rebuilding confidence and restoring quality of life. That’s why we’ve invested in the very best people, tools, and methods to deliver outstanding results every time.

We also offer IV sedation, and our dentists and nurses have immediate life support training. Our Marlow clinic has an in-house CBCT scanner to take 3D images for patient convenience, and our in-house team lectures and trains other dentists in how to plan, place and restore implants.

We go beyond simply “fitting implants.” We create tailored treatment plans that deliver beautiful, long-lasting smiles — all within the comfort of one dedicated clinic.

Expert-Led Care

Our implant dentists, including Dr Firas Daoudi and Dr Gurs Sehmi, are highly experienced and focus mainly on implant dentistry. This means you are treated by experts who perform these procedures every day.

Advanced Technology

All our treatment plans are based on using the highest quality technology, including our in-house CBCT scanner, allowing us to take 3D images of your teeth, bone, and jaw.

Implant Planning

Each dental implant that we place has been meticulously planned by our expert dentists to replace a missing tooth perfectly. Our dentists will consider the angle the implant is placed, the length of the implant and the implant brand that is used. No two cases are the same.

Dental implant placement

Dental implants are placed in a sterile environment to reduce the risk of infection and cross-contamination. We typically use a local anaesthetic to ensure our patients are comfortable throughout the process. In some cases, we may remove the tooth and then immediately place the implant in its place, but in cases where the tooth is not present, we can just place the implant into the area where the tooth is missing. Usually, implant-bone fusion takes 3 months.

The Bespoke Smile Method

Every patient journey follows our proven four-step process:

Facially Driven Smile Design: Accessing your facial features,

Designing the Final Tooth Restoration: Your implant crown is designed by our dentists by hand

Final Implant Restoration: Copied by our master ceramist and layered by hand

A Life Changing Transformation

The feeling of a confident smile, and ability to chew and bite without worrying about a denture being loose, or only having to order soft food at a restaurant, is life changing.

Your questions answered

FAQS about Dental Implants

I have gum disease — can I have an implant?
Yes, but your gum health will need to be stabilised first. Periodontal disease can affect the long-term success of implants, so our team will work with you to treat any gum issues before placing an implant. Healthy gums are essential for predictable, long-lasting results.
Absolutely. Our expert implant dentists can assess and safely remove failing implants, even those placed elsewhere. From there, we can plan a replacement or alternative treatment, often combining bone grafting if needed to ensure a strong foundation for your new smile.
Some patients may require a bone graft if there isn’t enough jawbone to support the implant. Using advanced imaging, we can determine whether a graft is necessary and perform it in-house, in some cases we can do that at the same time as placing the implant.
Yes! Implants can form part of a full smile design alongside veneers, crowns, and other cosmetic treatments. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that your implants and veneers are perfectly aligned for both function and aesthetics.
Veneers themselves cannot be placed directly on implants, because veneers require natural tooth structure to bond to. However, our process for designing veneers and dental implant restorations are the same – Facially driven, hand sculpted by our dentists and layered by our master ceramist.
Dental implants are an investment in your health, function, and confidence. They are the longest term option for replacing missing teeth and typically last 20+ years when placed correctly. The cost reflects the expertise of expert dentists, high-quality materials, advanced technology, and the personalised planning needed to ensure a safe, natural, and long-lasting result.
We use medical grade titanium for the implant post, renowned for its strength and biocompatibility. Implant crowns and bridges are crafted from premium porcelain or zirconia to ensure a natural look, durability, and long-term comfort. We also will evolve and adapt to patient requirements especially if any health, allergen or religious requirements.
Yes, titanium implants are fully vegan. Some crowns use ceramics or porcelain; these are also free from animal products. Our team can discuss material options if you have specific preferences.
