Can you get veneers on the NHS?
There are a wide range of treatments available on the NHS, some of which are readily available, and some that are only available in specific circumstances. There are different bands of charges for all NHS dental treatments:
- Band 1 dental treatment: £25.80 – This covers treatments including checkups, X-rays and adjusting braces.
- Band 2 dental treatment: £70.70 – This covers treatments including fillings and tooth extraction.
- Band 3 dental treatment: £306.80 – This covers treatments including bridges, crowns, dentures and veneers.
You are only able to qualify for NHS veneers if your dentist decides that there is a clinical need for them. If you do need veneers, and your dentist agrees to carry out the procedure, then this treatment would fall under a ‘Band 3’ treatment fee.
It’s important to note that NHS dental veneers are available only in specific cases where there is a clear clinical need. As a private practice, our services are tailored to those seeking private dental care solutions and follow our own criteria.

As we explained above, this would fall into a band 3 treatment which has a charge of £306.80. However, it is very unlikely that you would be able to get a complete set of veneers on the NHS.
