Find the right type for you

There are many different types of Invisalign treatment, which is designed to suit specific individuals and oral conditions.

Types of Invisalign:

  • Invisalign Full: Most often recommended
  • Invisalign Lite: For less severe bite conditions
  • Invisalign i7: Designed only for a few teeth and delivers fast results
  • Invisalign Teen: For growing and changing mouths

Can Invisalign ruin your teeth?

Braces or clear aligners can loosen your teeth to a certain degree, however, once the course of treatment has been completed your teeth will bounce back and finish shaking once the clear aligners are removed.

The only rare complications that can arise from Invisalign and with other braces is tooth resorption, this happens when teeth move too quickly.

Get to see the finished result beforehand

The first step in proceeding with the treatment is an orthodontic consultation.

This is an essential and important first step, which will assess if you are a viable candidate as well as checking the severity of your bite problem.

During your consultation, you will get to experience a piece of technology called ClinCheck which uses 3D imaging technology, which we will use to assess and craft your tailor-made aligners.

For you, this will mean that you get to see a digital representation of the finished results, where you will get to see how your teeth will align once the treatment has finished.

Treatment times for Invisalign can be from 12-18 months, however, this does truly depend on your unique condition.

Do you sleep with Invisalign in?

You will need to wear a set of aligners whilst you sleep every night.

The recommended wear time for aligners is usually 22 hours.

Do dentists recommend Invisalign?

As this is a relatively new, popular and effective procedure it is often recommended by our orthodontists here at The Bespoke Smile because of its powerful advantages.

Invisalign benefits include:

  • Better comfort
  • Easier eating, brushing and flossing
  • Improved oral health
  • No tooth staining
  • Pain-free
  • Invisible and removable
  • No need for wires

How expensive is Invisalign?

It’s not just the discreet advantages of this treatment that enticed more young professionals to undertake this treatment, but rather how it is available on 0% finance – making it more accessible for patients with all types of budgets.

As it is not an orthodontic treatment that is available on the NHS, Invisalign offered by private dentists can cost anywhere from £2,000.

However, again, the price will be dependent on the severity of your bite and the extent it will need to be treated.
