We are highly regarded in the Watford area as one of the most reputable corrective providers of implants.
Perceived as restorative experts in the dental world, we are often highly requested due to our skill, talent and experience.
For example, Dr Sam Jethwa, owner of the Bespoke Smile and his restorative team have placed hundreds, if not thousands of implants throughout their career.
“Absolutely fantastic staff, friendly and very professional. The level of service is second to none. Thank you Bespoke smile Marlow – I’m so grateful for how you’ve transformed my smile!” – Ria K, Wexham
We ensure to go the extra mile to improve the underlying oral structure to keep our patient’s mouths healthier for longer as well as replacing and improving overall aesthetics.
Dental implants are a dedicated procedure to replace broken, lost or eroded teeth and are often a preferred alternative to other treatments like bridgework or dentures.
Dental implants can hugely change your life, reinstate healthy oral functions and enhance aesthetics.
There are a few negative consequences of not replacing missing teeth; your oral structure and underlying foundation will inevitably suffer because of ignored tooth loss.
Problems like continued tooth loss can occur as well as a decreased amount of bone in the jaw.
On top of this, more wear and tear of remaining teeth will be much more likely as they take on more weight and pressure.
Different from teeth in a day, the regular implant process is not a success overnight.
Treatment occurs over a few months, which is necessary to enable the implant to heal and fuse with the jaw bone.
The procedure will include three stages that every patient will be required to undertake.
Advice for worried patients
Sedation is only needed for patients who are very sensitive or anxious.
The overall implant procedure is carried out in our implant clinic in Marlow under local anaesthetic.
Many patients express it to be a painless procedure with only some mild discomfort around the gums afterwards.
During your implant rehabilitation process, you may experience slight swelling or bruising.
This is completely normal and can be lessened by over the counter medications such as Ibruprofen.
The discomfort should not last longer than a few days and patients are approved to return to work the day after.
Taking care of your implant for life will demand no specialised care.
All you will need to do to assure its durability is to clean it as you would your regular teeth through routined brushing, flossing and hygiene check-ups.
