Restorative Dentists: Price of Implants, Benefits & Procedure

We are highly acknowledged in the Ascot area as one of the most reliable providers of implants in Berkshire.

Is the appearance of your smile weighing on you? We meet thousands of patients every year who are overly conscious and embarrassed by their smile.

Patients tired of missing teeth often turn to implants for quick aesthetic and cosmetic fixes.

This is because implants not only conceal smile imperfections but strengthen and improve the oral condition that may be affected by gaps in the mouth.

What problems do implants treat?

Implant treatments include single implants, multiple implants and All-on-Four/All-on-Six (teeth in a day).

For patients who need missing teeth replacing, implants are often the go-to system to improve the overall appearance of the mouth and strengthen the oral foundation.

Patients often prefer quicker procedures like this over alternative reparative treatments like uncomfortable dentures.

Why implants?

My experience at Bespoke Smile has been nothing short of fantastic. From consultation to appointments and follow-ups, I always felt in safe and capable hands. S. Notermans, Sunninghill

  • Have one or more missing teeth
  • You are unwilling to wear dentures
  • Would like to improve your speech/chewing ability
  • Have a sufficient amount of bone in the jaw to secure

Other restorative procedures include dental bridges and cosmetic dentures.

How do implants work?

Dental implants use a titanium screw which acts like an artificial tooth root, which is secured into your jawbone. This makes implants very strong and durable with most being able to last a lifetime.

Our planning of your dental implant treatment may involve a variety of specialists, which might include a:

  • Maxillofacial surgeon (specialising in tooth structure)
  • Periodontist (a dentist specialising in gums and bones)
  • Implantologist (the expert who will be constructing and placing your implants)

After your first examination with a skilful dentist, they will be able to determine if implants are the right option to treat your oral condition.

The consultation process is vital as it will include a complete evaluation of your oral state, which will tell the dentist if this is a suitable surgery for you.

For example, a good oral condition is required as well as a sufficient amount of bone to hold the implant in place. This is to ensure the success of the implantation process.

How much do they cost?

Aftercare: Looking after your implants

before implantsafter implants

Implants do not demand any specialised aftercare.

Sustaining your new implants is just the same as caring for your natural teeth.

They are extremely resilient as they do not decay or discolour, however, they will still need regular attention.

You will only need to continue with your usual oral hygiene routine, like flossing and brushing your teeth twice a day.

After the procedure, your gums may feel slightly uncomfortable, but this is common and will pass after a few days.

Why choose implants?
